Bamboo Diapers
The 100 percent bamboo French terry that I have been using in the soakers has been very popular for its great absorbency, but unfortunately it is no longer available. I have plenty of the 70/30 bamboo velour that I have been using in the body of the diapers. I have bamboo tensel and bamboo fleece that I am experimenting with for the soaker layers. When I get a combination that I am happy with I will put slots up on the shopping cart for them; hopefully at the beginning of the week.
New Microfleece
I am always on the lookout for more colors of micro fleece and I am really excited because I found some great colors of Malden Mills:
- pink heather,
- fuchsia,
- violet heather,
- denim blue,
- sky blue
- baby blue,
- royal blue,
- canary yellow,
- seafoam green heather,
- avocado
- red (kind of on the orange-y side).
Simply Nights vs. Basic Nights
I often get questions….”what is the difference between the simply nights and the basic nights diaper?” The basic nights diaper is cut from the Very Baby Basic AIO pattern, wider through the crotch and only comes with a front aplix closure. The Simply Nights is cut from the Very Baby fitted diaper pattern, so it is trimmer through the body. This diaper has three closure options – side snap, front snap, and front aplix. The fabric and number of layers in both diaper is exactly the same. The absorbency is similar in both diapers.
